My name is John Stirling. I was employed for many years with the Scottish Government and now I use my skills and experience for Proofreading Services.
My background complements my proofreading career and my experience shows my ability to adapt to each subject and piece of work. As continuous development of my proofreading services I am attending a variety of local and national events.
I am a trained proofreader and am undertaking further training with Publishing Scotland and the London-based Publishing Training Centre. I am also attending a variety of Business Gateway workshops to enhance my skills.
I am an associate member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP). I abide by the SfEP Code of Practice which establishes and maintains standards of best practice and encourages good professional relationships.
